Crispy outside, fluffy inside — the gold standard for Egyptian falafel, made fresh the traditional way.
Foul medames simmered patiently to bring out the deep, comforting flavour Egyptians grew up with.
Honest Egyptian street food, served the way it has always been served — generous, fresh, and unmistakably Cairo.
A few of the many reasons people keep coming back to Abou al Zouz.
I came here on vacation with my family from New York City and have nothing but the best things to say!! The food was AMAZING. The mixed grill, the lamp chops, spicy potatoes. Everything was delicious.
Loved the experience. The grilled meat was tender and flavorful, and the fresh bread made it even better. The muhammara was rich, slightly sweet, and perfectly balanced, while the fattoush was fresh, crisp, and full of flavour.
Such a wonderful dinner! Service is perfect and our waiter Mido is so considerate and warm! The boss is so kind and he came over to check if everything goes on well and ask people to prepare blanket for us as it was a bit cold.
